Pesticide Removal

We have a private well and living in a farming area. My nutritionist tested our water and it's coming up with pesticides.  I'm very confused about all the different options of water filters - reverse osmosis doesn't seem to be effective for pesticide and chemical removal - can you recommend a reasonable option for us? Cost is a consideration -- but I want to try to fix this issue. Thank you!

Hello,
Pesticides are organic based chemicals (VOCs) and activated carbon
should be very effective against it. Perhaps, because the pesticides
and other organics are very high, the carbon is having difficulty
adsorbing all the chemicals. You should probably consider a dual or
triple undersink filter, while utilizing 2-3 carbon filters within
the system. The B-2 filter will help remove organic and inorganic
chemicals, the Ultracarb filter will also be very effective against
pesticides, and choose a third specialty cartridge within it like the
CN-CP1 carbon block filter. This a slight custom configuration so you
would need to call and request this setup over the phone. The price
is $ 389.00 for the triple canister
http://doultonusa.com/HTML%20pages/ip300sca5-a3.htm and $ 319.00 for
the dual http://doultonusa.com/HTML%20pages/ip200UC_plus.htm. Please
let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you.

used ultracarb disposal ideas?

QUESTION:
I have been all over the web, including your company website, but I can't find any suggestions about recycling or other creative disposal methods for used ultracarb candles. Do you have any ideas other than throwing them in the trash?

RESPONSE:
You can break up (crush) and spread the ceramic element in your garden soil to help prevent pest infestation. The cap itself can be put into your recycle bin. We highly appreciate your environmental conscious consideration.

Fluoride, Chlorine, lead mercury, bacteria etc. water filter

At this point I am shopping around for a filter and found your website. I like that fact that you have been in business so long.
I rent an apartment in a private house so I wouldn’t be getting a whole house filter.
Can you tell me if there is such a thing as a filter either under or over the sink which will remove Fluoride as well as Chlorine…and whatever else you usually remove like lead mercury, bacteria etc. ???
If so, please refer me to a link where I can read about it. If two separate units do that, or if it exists but you just don’t have it, tell me that too.
The under sink filters that you would need are located at:
